2005 IN REVIEW

Jasiri & Sukari had some wonderful accomplishments in 2005, some of them are listed below.

The Top Dog of All Breeds In Japan!!!
Confetti (JKC, Int Ch Jasiri-Sukari Party Favor) was not only the top Basenji for 2005 in Japan - she was also the # 1 All-Breed Dog in Japan!
Confetti won more All-Breed Best In Shows in 2005 then any other dog in Japan.
Confetti is owned by Mr Genji Ozeki.


# 1 Basenji in the USA (All-Breed System)
Vinnie (Ch Jasiri-Sukari John Tri-Volta JC) finished the year as the # 1 Basenji in Country in the All Breed System and # 17 Hound. He was # 3 in the Breed System.
Vinnie was handled throughout the year by Michael and Stacy Snyder-Work through the generosity of owner, Katherine Toohey (Slamdunk).
Brother Stewart (Ch Jasiri-Sukari White Collar Crime JC) finished # 8 in the All-Breed System
and # 6 in the Breed System - and he was only shown for 7 months!


1 All-Breed Best In Show Winner (USA)
Vinnie (Ch Jasiri-Sukari John Tri-Volta JC) won 2 All-Breed Best In Shows during 2005, handled by Michael and Stacy Snyder-Work.


5 Group Winners
Tommy (Dual Ch Jasiri-Sukari Juri Maguire MC, LCX II) - at 8 years of age!!
Vinnie (Ch Jasiri-Sukari John Tri-Volta JC) had a total of 63 group placements, including 23 Firsts!
Drew (Ch Jasiri-Sukari Pup Tart) handled by Rhanda Glenn.
Stewart (Ch Jasiri-Sukari White Collar Crime JC) - the 3rd littermate to win a Group!
Millie (Ch Jasiri-Sukari Vermillion) at only 10 months of age!


Top 2 Basenjis is Lure Coursing (AKC)
Tommy (Dual Ch Jasiri-Sukari Juri Maguire MC, LCX II) finishes the year as the # 1 Lure Coursing Basenji in the Country.
Timmy (Dual Ch Jasiri-Sukari The Illustrated Man SC) was right on is heels,finishing a close 2nd!


4 New Jasiri-Sukari Champions
Patty (Ch Jasiri-Sukari Surprise Party) completed her Championship in January
Fiesta (Ch Jasiri-Sukari Party Lines) completed her Championship in February
Millie (Ch Jasiri-Sukari Vermillion) completed her Championship in October
Melody ( Ch Jasiri-Sukari Pup Music) completed her Championhip in November

This section would not be complete if we did not mention the dogs we lost in 2005

Juba - Jasiri-Sukari Cool Country died in May due to chronic renal failure (not Fanconi).
She was 14 years old. Juba was owned and loved by Paul & Celia Krogue.

Juri - Dual Ch Jasiri's Jurassic Bark MC died in September from Lymphoblastic Lymphosarcoma.
She was 10 1/2 years old.

Pachino - Ch Sukari-Jasiri Howl Pachino SC also died in September from seizures (cause unknown).
He was 12 1/2 yrs old. Pachino was owned and loved by Kathy Wood and Nick Conan.
