Rocket Socks came to us from Tamsala Kennels in Australia.
He is a wonderful addition to our breeding program in both
pedigree and temperment. |
On the way to his American Championship Rocket won two Sweepstakes;
Basenji Club of Southern California (07-01-99) and
Western Hound Association of Southern California (07-02-99)
He was also awarded Winners Dog at the Basenji Club of Southern California Specialty (07-01-99).
Rocket has also excelled on the coursing field.
He was the # 1 Basenji in Lure Coursing (AKC)in 2001
and again in 2003.
The day he completed his Field Championship he was
Best of Breed over 19 Basenjis and
was also BEST IN FIELD (All Breed).
Rocket was only the third Basenji (and second Champion) to earn a
Lure Courser Excellent (LCX) title.
Rocket's Hips are OFA Good
He CERF'd with clear eyes in 2005
He is DNA tested Clear of Hemolytic Anemia
He was not tested for Fanconi, but based on offspring was most likely a Carrier
