	Target finished his Championship in just 16 shows, novice handled by his owner, Julie. He was not a "specials" dog and was therefore retired from the conformation ring.
He was shown in obedience at the BCOSC Specialty three years in a row obtaining a leg each year. He's pictured here going High In Trial in 1989 with Kathy handling.

Target followed in the footsteps of his sire, Spotty,
by becoming one of the breed's top producers.
He has 41 Champion offspring to date.
He has sired National and Regional Specialty winners,
Sweepstakes winners, Group winners and Top Ten get.

Also like his father, Target continued to sire litters even in his old age,
with three litters produced (naturally) after his 13th birthday.

We do have frozen semen on Target,
and have sucessfully used it to produce a litter.
So although he is gone, you may see more of his babies one day.

He CERF'd with clear eyes in 1997 (12 yrs old)
He is DNA tested Clear of Hemolytic Anemia
He strip tested negative for glucose his entire life
