Vinnie finished his Championship in just 11 shows., winning a Best of Breed along the way.
Vinnie was completely owner-breeder handled in 2004
and finished the year as the # 3 Basenji in the Breed point system and # 4 in the Group point system.
Thanks to the generosity of co-owner Katherine Toohey (SlamDunk),
Vinnie spent 2005 on the east coast under the guidance of Michael Work and Stacy Snyder-Work,
winning two All-Breed Best In Shows, during the year.
Vinnie finished 2005 as the NUMBER 1 Basenji in America!!
Vinnie earned his Field Championship in March of 2007, winning two 5 point majors along the way.
He is one of only 3 Basenjis to have both a Dual Championship title and an All-Breed Best In Show win.
Vinnie died of natural causes at 15 1/2 years old
Vinnie is CHIC certified with AKC and the OFA
Vinnie's Hips are OFA Excellent
He is a Fanconi Carrier
He CERF'd with clear eyes in 2008
He tested PRA Normal
He is DNA tested Clear of Hemolytic Anemia
His thyroid tested Normal
