Raider was an all around hound - he excelled in confirmation, obedience and lure coursing.
He was Best In Sweeps and Best of Winners at the BCOSC Specialty in 1988 to finish his Championship.
He went on to become a multiple Best In Show winner and one of America's top Basenjis.
He completed his CD in three shows, including High In Trial at the BCOSC Specialty.
He was run in only ASFA 3 lure courses,
all of them BCOSC Specialty courses and he was Best of Breed at all three.
As a veteran, he was Best In Veteran Sweeps at the BCOA National (1995) and was also
presented with an Award of Merit that year.
Raider died at 12 years old from brain cancer.
Our home is not the same without him.
Although Raider spilled sugar for 5 years, he had no symptoms of Fanconi at the time of his death.
Raider's hips were OFA Good
His last eye exam showed minor PPM
He was DNA tested clear of Hemolytic Anemia
